This is that time of the year for me to pause and express my appreciation for my family’s love and support. The work I’ve done during the year has been rewarding and a source of great pride. My associates have done a great job, and I appreciate my customers who chose me as their guide and thank them for their business.
Looking ahead, we in the control room business will likely see an up-tic in emergency operations center work now that the federal government has a budget. Sadly, weather disasters haven’t gone away, nor have threats to our homeland security. I also expect traffic management center and 911 dispatch projects to keep pace with population growth so there should plenty of work to go around.
One of my top priorities this year is to stay on top of my blog; I hope I will do better this year. You can expect more tidbits on my projects and my observations on the industry along the way. Have a safe and Happy New Year. I look forward to hearing from you throughout the year.
